Squirrelled away from the virus that changed our lives so profoundly in 2020, I found myself back in front of the computer, with a strong desire to make music. For the first time in quite a long while, new ideas started to take shape and I took a dive without thinking twice. I pushed outside my comfort zone, I explored roads I never visited before and songs were born. In fact, the adventure continues and ideas for new songs are still being born as you read these very words.

Under normal circumstances, I would have perhaps patiently waited for a specific moment & the appropriate budget to add the standard layer of paint the industry has come to require. Life is short, far more fragile than we realise and today's limitations are not normal circumstances by any stretch - for that reason, I decided to send these home-recorded demos into the wild without any further ado. No fancy paint jobs, just music I assembled and edited by myself, in my room.

These five ( so maybe there's something hidden somewhere...:) ) instrumental songs are love children of analogue and digital: they're built off samples and sounds made by real-life instruments, they have a soul built for emotion and an (admittedly imperfect) body built with zeros and ones. These songs are an unexpected gift I feel lucky to have received - I'm sharing them with you today, hard drive to hard drive, with the hope that they bring you at least as much joy as they brought me.
